DAY 6 OF THE 30-DAY WRITING CHALLENGE
The One Thing I Would Never do And Why
You can only exist by becoming the best version of yourself
Speaking from the aspect of life; passion, career, and personality. There's one thing I'm always scared of, "Comparison".
I hate when people compare themselves with others. It's slow down personal growth and nips one's aspiration in the bud.
This is what many individuals don't know about. Sometimes comparison can lead to covetousness.
If you're comparing yourself with others, there's a possibility that you will end up swimming in jealousy.
And being jealous will mark the beginning of emotional anxiety and mental illness, and once your emotions and mentality are disrupted by the so-called act of comparison, you will land yourself in an absolute state of confusion.
I can never be you, and you can never be me! Then why the comparison? It is either I got close to your level, or I overtake you. Period.
Instead of comparing ourselves with others, is better we stoop low and learn from them.
To summary, I can never compare myself with anybody. Because I don't want to limit myself to what I'm capable of doing.
I'd rather be happy about their success and wish them well. While I learn and tap from their graces and add my own, this makes me grow better.
What is that one thing you can't do?
