It is important to be mindful of personal space and to respect the boundaries of others. If you find yourself in a situation where you are unsure of what is appropriate, it is always better to err on the side of caution and to ask for permission before touching someone or invading their personal space.

So so true. The fact that we're good friends does not mean that you have access to everything. Sometimes take permission over certain things.
