I love these lines.

This made me remember a writing friend of mine, she had always checked on me whenever we both had writing projects.

Anytime she called me on the phone, she’s gonna sound like, "Hey, Joe. Are you done with your manuscript?" This alone helps me stay motivated and keep working because I don’t want to tell her "No." Either I said "Yes" or "Still in progress."

The truth is that as humans, we need someone to push us.
