You can be communicating and yet people don’t understand what you’re saying. You see the aim is defeated. So the core reason for communication is understanding—that makes it effective.
So if we can truly grasp another person’s perspective, feelings, or intentions, we’ll be able to transform how we interact and relate with each other.

One Friday morning, I was at a salon to cut my hair. Then I met two Muslim brothers arguing about two of their Islamic teachers.
The argument was so tense and they took about 30 minutes arguing about the matter.
I found the argument fascinating because I was actually trying to learn something.
