10 Tips For Creating a Positive and Mindful Workplace Culture
Goodbye to the toxic work environment

For many people, work can be stressful and tiring. Unhappy employees can lead to poor performance, low morale, and even health problems, so it’s important to foster a positive and mindful workplace culture that makes people feel valued and supported.
Furthermore, a good number of employers thought that creating a fragile and toxic work environment is the only way to push employees to do what they ought to do. Which is not true. Most employers forget that a toxic work environment can only chase employees away and not retain them.
The toxic work environment was the reason why I left my job in 2012. My boss was a woman; whenever she comes into the factory, everyone is going to be like “Hey, our boss is here! Let’s be the best of ourselves.” We use to be frightened and I hated it. My boss wan this kind of woman that never wanted your peace of mind even when you’re doing the right. She will always find a way to be on your neck.
However, this is not limited to only bosses. It applies to even employees. Employees can also contribute to building a sweet work environment by simply following the rules and orders of the organization. Sometimes an employee’s attitude towards work will determine the reaction of the boss or leader. But then, that shouldn’t be a yardstick to not doing what is right.
While there’s no surefire formula for success, these 10 tips for creating a positive and mindful workplace culture will help you get started on the right foot when attracting new talent or when improving your existing company culture.
Stay Positive
It can be easy to get bogged down in the negative when things at work are tough, but it’s important to try and stay positive. A positive attitude is contagious and can help turn a negative situation around. Additionally, try to be mindful of the language you use when talking about work – avoid complaining or gossiping, and instead focus on speaking positively about your colleagues and the company.
If something bad happens, take a moment to pause before responding or reacting. You may need some time to process what happened before making any comments…
